The US and Canadian markets for electrical and electronic products are conditioned to accepting product approval marks and safety certification from a Nationally Recognised Testing Laboratory (NRTL). These labs are also recognised by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) to provide evaluation, testing and certification of products.
Cranage has many years of experience working with NRTL’s and our ILAC/UKAS accredited test reports can be accepted to show compliance against American (UL) and Canadian (CSA) standards. Our team of Engineers can work with you to provide assistance and reduce the assessment time for gaining certification.

Existing product approval arrangements can be easily transferred subject to passing a technical review. Products tested by Cranage and certified for use in North America include scientific instruments, professional audio equipment, vacuum cleaners, commercial laundry equipment, bottle labelling machines, electric hair straighteners and various types of medical equipment.
